Performative installation for seven movements, one voice and one horizon

Presented among others at the FIBA - Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires, at the Santiago a Mil Festival, at the Mostra Internacional de Teatro de São Paulo, at Operadagen in Rotterdam, at the European biennial Manifesta13 in Marseille, and recently on tour in India in Karnataka , Kerala and Manipur.

ORLANDO is an opera of a new kind, a performative installation combining conscious movement, video installation, architecture and live sound/music performance. 

Julie Beauvais choreographs conscious movements with Orlandos of today, embodying the post-binary new paradigm around the world. Deep Listening is here used as a means of revelation, enabling an expanded awareness, a clairvoyance.

Horace Lundd chooses vast horizon lines to capture these essential movements at the Blue Hour. She films fragments destined to later form a continuum and to create the Orlandos common breathing. 

They called on the architects Sibylle Kössler and Wynd van der Woude to develop a scenographic device that allows the videos to be projected simultaneously, side by side, connecting the seven horizons in one. As well as to the composer Christophe Fellay to create an open score for sound artists invited to re-invent the ORLANDO experience during each performance.
